Manti Te'o talks to ESPN, says he was not part of girlfriend hoax

Manti Te'o conducted his first interview since it was revealed that his deceased girlfriend was a hoax. And during the interview with ESPN's Jeremy Schaap, Te'o denied being behind the hoax (via Brett McMurphy of ESPN).Former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o, who has kept a low profile following the news that his girlfriend never existed, spoke Friday evening, saying that he was the victim of the hoax, not one of its perpetrators.
